The AEC Software Online Store accepts orders and ships products to end user customers only.

Return and Refund Policy

If you are not satisfied with your AEC Software Online Store purchase, please call (800) 346-9413 for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) request within 14 calendar days of date of purchase. The product must be returned to AEC Software within 14 calendar days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be unopened and packed in the original packaging, including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that shipped with the product.

How to Request a Refund

Within 14 days of date of purchase from AEC Software's Online Store:

  1. Call 1-800-346-9413 for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) request.
  2. Ship the unopened product to AEC Software (see address below).
  3. A refund will be processed within 1-3 weeks of receipt of the product.

Please note that AEC Software does not permit the return of, or offer refunds, for the following products:

  1. Download or electronically delivered (emailed) licenses.
  2. Upgrade orders
  3. Opened software
  4. Volume License software orders*
  5. Products purchased at a discount or as part of a promotion, including Academic licenses.
  6. Products obtained as part of a bundle, with or without training, with other computer services or equipment, or distributed by another company as part of their software compilation
  7. Products obtained by any customer in any other country other than the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, United States territories, and Canada
  8. AEC Software fee-based technical support services, training or consulting services, Maintenance Agreements and any other related products and services
  9. Shipping and handling charges
  10. Any other services provided by AEC Software

* Volume License Order Returns: AEC Software does not accept returns for Volume License (licenses purchased at a discount from original price) or Maintenance Agreement orders.

Defective Items

If you discover what you believe is a product defect for any AEC Software-branded product, please contact AEC Software Customer Assistance at 1-800-346-9413. Such a defect, if any, may be covered under the terms of your product's warranty. Please refer to the warranty information contained in the Software License Agreement for your product.

NOTE: Products sold through this Web site that do not bear the AEC Software brand name are serviced and supported exclusively by their manufacturers in accordance with terms and conditions packaged with the products. AEC Software's Limited Warranty does not apply to products that are not AEC Software-branded, even if packaged or sold with AEC Software products.

NOTE: AEC Software recommends that you:

  1. Use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns, and
  2. Either insure your package for safe return to AEC Software, or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are completely protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit.

If you choose not to: (1) use a carrier that offers tracking, and (2) insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping.
