AEC Software has implemented the following policies to guarantee a successful training and consulting experience and maximize class availability. Due to class size limitations, trainees must adhere to these policies.
Payment
Payments for e-training classes are to be made in full by credit card prior
to the training date. Full payment of the training fee must be provided within 72
hours of the scheduled class, and is required to confirm your registration and placement
in all training classes.
Cancellations, Substitutions, and No Shows
Cancellations of e-training class seats are not permitted. If a trainee is unable
to attend the scheduled class, the trainee must notify AEC Software 24 hours prior
to the scheduled training and will have the option of rescheduling to another class
of the same course type and software version. A class may only be rescheduled once
and must be taken within 30 calendar days of the originally purchased class. After
30 calendar days, the trainee looses the right to reschedule their class and the
right to a credit.
Seat substitutions are permitted no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled class.
If a trainee does not attend a class and does not provide written notice 24 hours prior to the training date, the trainee will be deemed a "No Show" and will be charged 100% of the training fee. The training fee is non-refundable, and may not be applied toward another class.
Internet and Phone Connections
All trainees are expected to connect to the online meeting service 10 minutes prior
to the training start time to ensure a trouble-free training session. Trainees are
requested to call into the conference call 5 minutes prior to the training start
time. All connection attempts after the start of the class will be rejected and
will be considered a No Show. Trainees are responsible for their Internet connection
and long distance phone charges associated with e-training classes.
Restrictions
Each e-training class seat is sold to, and may be occupied by, one trainee only.
Speakerphones, projectors, or any other device used with the intent to distribute
the content of the e-training class is strictly prohibited. All copyrights, patents,
designs, and other intellectual property rights in or relating to any course materials
provided or made available in connection with our courses remain the sole property
of AEC Software, Inc. No part of any course materials may be reproduced, stored
in a retrieval system, or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical,
photocopying, recording or otherwise, or translated into any language, without the
prior written permission of AEC Software, Inc. AEC Software may, at its discretion,
decide to record any or all parts of its e-training classes to ensure quality assurance
and customer compliance.
Should AEC determine that a trainee has permitted additional personnel (greater than the number of seats paid) to attend any part or duration of the e-training class, the trainee will be found in violation of the restrictions. The trainee may be invoiced, or have their credit card charged for the full seat cost per additional personnel (including any penalty fees).
All purchased e-training seats and vouchers are only valid for the current version of the software available at the time of the e-training seat or voucher purchase. Failure to redeem the e-training seat and voucher prior to the release of a new version of the software will result in forfeiture of the e-training fee, and it may not be applied toward another class.
AEC Software Class Cancellations
AEC Software reserves the right to cancel any class that does not meet minimum registration
requirements. Classes may be canceled 72 hours prior to the scheduled date. Should
AEC Software cancel a class, a trainee may request either a credit toward another
session or a full refund for the course. Cancellations made by AEC Software due
to unforeseen circumstances that are not in compliance with the aforementioned cancellation
period including, but not limited to, weather, acts of God, accidents, embargoes,
acts of civil or military authority, or any other incident beyond AEC Software's
control, are exempt for any such notice and/or refund.

check, or money transfer prior to the training date. Full payment of the training
fee must be provided within 72 hours of the scheduled class, and is required to
confirm your registration and placement in all training classes.

training classes may not be conducted in the same geographic location, the trainee
will have the option of rescheduling their seat to any location within the continental
US, where AEC Software is conducting the same course type and software version.
A class may only be converted to an e-Training class or rescheduled to a different
hands-on training class one time, and must be taken within 90 calendar days of the
originally purchased class. After 90 calendar days, the trainee loses the right
to reschedule their class and the right to a credit.

expenses must be paid in full 7 days after signature of training quote or proposal.
Payment of the training fee must be provided within 72 hours of the scheduled class,
and is required to confirm your registration and placement in all training classes.
Cancellations and Substitutions
On-site training cancellations or substitutions are not permitted. Payments for
travel expenses for any on-site training are non-refundable. Customers may reschedule
an on-site training after providing notice and receiving approval from AEC Software,
no later than 14 days prior to the scheduled class dates. Any rescheduled class
must take place within 30 days of the initial training date. If the class is not
rescheduled within 30 days of the initial training date, the customer forfeits their
right to reschedule the class. Any cancellation on a rescheduled class is non-refundable.
Payment for any additional travel expenses incurred due to a rescheduling is the
responsibility of the customer.

version of the software available at the time of the on-site training seat or voucher
purchase. Failure to redeem the on-site training seat and voucher prior to the release
of a new version of the software will result in forfeiture of the on-site training
fee, and it may not be applied toward another class.
Travel Expenses
Travel expenses include, but are not limited to: transportation, hotel accommodations,
parking, tolls, and per diem. AEC Software will provide an estimate of travel expenses
pertaining to on-site training. Customers incur all estimated travel expenses. AEC
Software will book travel within one business day of receipt of a customer's signed
acceptance for training. Should travel expenses change, AEC Software will notify
the customer and the customer will be responsible for the original travel expense
and any additional price changes. At a customer's written request, no later than
10 days prior to the training date, AEC Software will provide documented receipts
of the travel expense change.
Payment
Payments for consulting and template design work are to be made in full by credit
card, check or money transfer. Any initial assessment fees necessary for consulting
or template design work must be paid for in advance by credit card. Once customer
signs and accepts the Statement of Work (SOW), the customer is responsible for a
minimum deposit of 50% at the start of work-the balance of the fee is due upon completion
of work as defined in the SOW. Durations and costs of work to be completed on the
SOW are estimates only and may change. If the duration or cost of work changes,
AEC Software will notify the customer and provide an updated SOW to reflect these
changes. Should a customer decide not proceed with the revised SOW, payment for
the original agreed upon fee will become due and payable immediately.
Procedures
Prior to any assessment, the customer is requested to provide a scope and any documentation
of their work requirements and objectives for consulting or template design. Once
the requested documentation is received, AEC Software will conduct an assessment
with the customer. Within 72 hours of the initial assessment, AEC Software will
provide the customer with a SOW, which includes (but is not limited to): a description
of work to be performed, and an estimate on the duration and cost for the work to
be completed. Training on any produced template is not included in the SOW and is
considered another transaction, unless agreed upon in the SOW. Customer must provide
a signed acceptance of the SOW within 10 business days of delivery of the SOW to
customer. No consultation or template design will begin until the customer agrees
to and signs the SOW.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
Assessment sessions are non-refundable. Prior to any initial consulting or template
design assessments, a customer may cancel or reschedule their session by providing
24-hour notice to AEC Software.
Any rescheduled assessment must take place within 30 days of the initial assessment date. If the assessment is not rescheduled within 30 days of the initial date, the customer may incur additional fees.
Restrictions
All purchased consulting and template design work is only valid for the current
version of the software available at the time of the consulting and template design
work purchase. Failure to redeem the consulting and template design work prior to
the release of a new version of the software will result in forfeiture of the consulting
and template design fee, and it may not be applied toward another class.
Use of Templates
Templates created by AEC Software for customers are intended for customer use only
and cannot be repurposed, redistributed, or sold. As these templates are modifications
of existing AEC Software templates and proprietary information, rights and ownership
are non-transferable and are retained by AEC Software. Any maintenance, updates,
or requested changes to the delivered template may incur additional costs. AEC Software
makes no guarantees or warranties, expressed or implied, with its template or service.
